Growing up in the 80's in a small town on the east coast of Australia, we didn't always have access to big chain restaurants. The fish and chip shop around the corner, and the local Chinese take out who's suspect "chicken special" always coincided with missing cats in the neighborhood, were all that was really available to us. But I will always remember the day we got our first McDonalds restaurant, and as soon as it opened I just had to have my birthday party there.
But because I was a picky eater, while all my friends were eating burgers, I could only eat the nuggets. But oh how I loved them. I would soak them in sweet and sour sauce, savor every bite, and if anyone asked me for a nugget I would give them the evil eye...like the one Dina Lohan gives her PC each morning when she hasn't had a google alert....
But I grew up and McDonalds and other fast food restaurants became a distant memory as I now try to follow (emphasis on the word try) a healthier lifestyle. Following a plan of eating whole foods the majority of the time - yes I still have my cheat meals, and yes sometimes I slip up and will binge on an entire birthday cake in one sitting or make three trips to the pizza place after one too many drinks - the thought now of eating nuggets or other McDonald items for that matter, just doesn't appeal to me. But I thought I would some research into my favorite little chicken past time and actually see what I used to eat...and what some of you may still be eating now.
If you do some searching you can actually find McDonalds nutritional information online where they give you the calorie content of each of their menu items. I mean none of it should be shocking anymore. If you order a quarter pounder with cheese and a large fries and soda you simply know you are overloading on bad fat and excess calories. But I searched a little further and actually found the ingredient list for all the items, including those crunchy nuggets. Lets take a look:
Chicken McNuggets®:
White boneless chicken, water, food starch-modified, salt, seasoning (autolyzed yeast extract, salt, wheat starch, natural flavoring (botanical source), safflower oil,
dextrose, citric acid, rosemary), sodium phosphates, seasoning (canola oil, mono- and diglycerides, extractives of rosemary). Battered and breaded with: water,
enriched flour (bleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), yellow corn flour, food starch-modified, salt, leavening (baking
soda, sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate, calcium lactate), spices, wheat starch, whey, corn starch. Prepared in
vegetable oil (Canola oil, corn oil, soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil with TBHQ and citric acid added to preserve freshness). Dimethylpolysiloxane added as an
antifoaming agent.
The first ingredient is "white boneless chicken" - well one would hope so, I mean it's a chicken nugget you are eating. But then it gets a little scary. There are an additional 38 or so ingredients. That's right, over another 38 ingredients packed into that little nugget. Did you have some trouble pronouncing some of them? Don't worry, most of us can't, and thats exactly what McDonalds and other food manufactures are hoping for because if you actually knew what they were, you probably wouldn't eat them. Lets take a look at just a few of the main culprits:
Modified Food Starch: This is cornstarch that has been chemically altered and added to the nugget to help glue everything together and as a bulking and filling agent to reduce the actual amount of chicken used in the nugget and consequently save McDonalds money. There has been no direct scientific research that states that this is bad for you, but if you ask me, I would rather not put a food that has been altered from it's original state by chemicals into my body.
Autolyzed Yeast Extract: Is a substance that is formed when yeast is broken down into separate components and is a less expensive form of MSG. MSG is that nasty addictive stuff that keeps you coming back for more and has been reported to cause numerous health concerns such as severe allergies, cancer and heart disease.
Dextrose: Sugar...enough said.
Sodium Phosphates: Used in some products as a laxative, but is mainly used as a texturizer and emulsifier which stops all the nasty oils from separating within the nugget.
Bleached Wheat Flour: You have all heard me talk about white flour before. Its essentially flour that has been bleached... yes bleached, often by using the same chemicals you use to clean your bathroom and get your white's so sparking white... to extend shelf life and stop pests and insects from eating it. If they won't go near it, what does that say?
Sodium Aluminum Phosphate: Is a new product to the food industry that is used for leveling, and hasn't been thoroughly tested. Although aluminum has been widely researched to cause Alzheimers and dementia. Oh, and sodium aluminum phosphate is also used in eye drops and pesticides...yum!
Hydrogenated Soybean Oil: Now if you read my post a few months back about bad fats, then these three words when clumped together should ring some alarm bells for you. You see food manufacturers got together and said "How can we make our products last longer and save money", and they came up with hydrogenated oil. The oil is chemically altered and bleached to turn it into a solid to avoid it going rancid. The problem with this, well it turns out our body's have a hard time digesting and using this chemically altered oil, so it causes weight gain as well other degenerative diseases. If you are buying any product, and are at all concerned about yours or your family's health, you should avoid any product that contains hydrogenated or even worse partially hydrogenated (trans fat) oils.
TBHQ: Is probably the most alarming ingredient on here. It is a derivative of petroleum. That's right the same stuff you put in your car to get you to work each morning, and it is sprayed on the nugget directly or into the box to preserve freshness. It is also a form of butane, does that word ring any bells? It is lighter fluid. They obviously don't use very much of it, because a single gram of TBHQ can cause "nausea, vomiting, ringing in the ears, delirium, a sense of suffocation, and collapse." Ingesting five grams of TBHQ can kill. So next time you are around the camp fire, and have no wood to burn, just throw in a few chicken nuggets from McDonalds and you will be warm and cosy for hours.
Dimethylpolysiloxane: Used as an "antifoaming agent" is a type of oil derived from silicon. It stops the McDonalds deep fryers from foaming up and boiling over. It's also put in shampoos and used in the manufacturing of contact lenses. Makes you want to dive into a pack of nuggets right now doesn't it?
Think you might be doing your self a favor and not eating the nuggets? Well all of these chemicals can also be found in their Chicken Selects, and the majority of them are used in the preparation of most of their meat based menu items.
Looking at the above ingredients you cannot be surprised to find out that each chicken nugget is only 44% chicken. Those nasty chemicals, cheap corn products, and salt make up the rest of it.
Don't even get me started on the sauces either. The first ingredient in their sauce is high fructose corn syrup (yes more cheap corn products) which has been linked to obesity and diabetes.
Personally, if you care about your health, from a weight loss perspective, but also from a internal perspective...and external for that matter - don't think those ingredients are doing any positive things for your skin and aging... and you are still eating at McDonalds I think you would be crazy. Sure the occasional nugget isn't going to kill you, but I it isn't going to be doing you any good either.
Healthy Boy x
God, and I thought the chicken food items were basically the only sane thing left to eat when "forced" to eat at a McDonalds (it happens sometimes you know...peer pressure and all). After reading (and seeing; that chicken head, YIKES!) all this, I just can't anymore. I'll stick to some fries and a salad.
ReplyDeleteLife would be very possible, in fact much healthier. In many European countries the MG found in much of our food is actually illegal. How did the pioneers live? There was life before man-made chemicals!
Deletefries? Apparently you haven't watched "Superize Me" yet. It's a great movie that reveals the truth about McDonald's, thier fried never digest.
DeleteApparently you've never seen "Super High Me" yet, it's a great movie too lol
DeleteI haven't eaten a chicken mcnugget from them in years!
ReplyDeleteSame
Deletedont worry all u deep phat fryer lover... theres always chicken cottage or south london fried chicken or chick'n'box... theres many ways to kill urself if ur hungry!
ReplyDeleteThat is why I raise my own cats! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd DUPONT says "Without chemicals, life itself would be impossible". That is why my diet mainly consists of Diet Coke and Twinkies.
ReplyDeletehey... cats can feed people too.. they are as organic as you can get.... I am sure anthony bourdain or andrew zimmerm would eat it. i would even feed my children if that's all there was... yeah!!
ReplyDeletethats sooooooooooooooo grosss im never eating there again
ReplyDeletedid you know that their burgures are not all beef
DeleteThats how I feel now
DeleteI'll absolutely NOT have my child eat their chicken nuggets again, ever! (She's a picky eater and wouldn't eat burgers, too.) Thanks a million, Healthy Boy!!
ReplyDeleteim still eating them i like chemicals
ReplyDeletewell ur stupid
Deletethose purdue commercials are pretty effective! enter the "frozen zone" - is it chicken or chicken wanna be!
ReplyDeleteYeah...well...isn't it more important to be lazy and not cook? Isn't it better to teach our kids instant gratification, despite the fact that we are ultimately killing them? Oh, they will be sick with a myriad of illnesses first, but hey, the doctors can just keep pumping them with drugs. How terrible. It takes minimal effort to buy fresh organic raw food and provide it to our families. Shame on people for having children and pumping them with this fake-food.
ReplyDeleteI know people who think abortion is against Gods wishes, but feed this stuff to their children. What's the difference? It all adds up.
Take an educated look at all of the products your family consumes on a daily basis and start realizing that you are responsible for finding a means to provide a better life for them.
Can you sue ur parents for bringing you there?
DeleteUmmmmm. EWWWWWW McDonals Sometimes grinds other thingsin the chicken such as bones and fat so when you see a chicken nugget and it has browm things in it dont eat it they make hambugers out of anusis Most kids love Mcd's But I like Totally dont Im a Taco Bell FAN!!!!!! LOL
ReplyDeletei like taco bell too,, but am thinking should i check them out as well
DeleteWhen I saw this, it came to a shock for me. I never knew that McDonald's would put that in their food! I mean, I know that McDonald's not that healthy, but I didn't know that they would go that far with all the chemicals and... ugh! I think that home food is definitely better then outside food. Though occasionally we could all go outside to eat once in a while. But I think that McDonald's not one I would really consider. Usually I see a lot of people at McDonald's dump their food into the garbage. It's really a shame for people to eat and dump their food in the garbage can. I mean, all that good food wasted! But in this case, I think it would be worth it... though I'm still not too sure. From reading about the chicken nuggets ( or so they call them), I have a feeling that McDonald's would go way further than just chemicals in their chicken nuggets. There might be more food with all those icky ingredients in them! I think that no one should eat chicken nuggets anymore. ( Just my opinion.) Also, I think that McDonald's should be responsible for the addiction to their food and the weight gain and the chemicals which may result into deadly flu's and/or diseases.
ReplyDeleteamen
Deleteyes they should be responsible, because they should care what about what their food consist of when selling it to the public. all they care about it the profit and not the people i think we as a nation should bocott mcdonalds and send them a message that we as a people don't agree or appreciate what they are doing
Deleteo wow i never new nothing lyk can happen
ReplyDeletechicken nuggets suuuuuuuuuuucccckkkkkkkkk!! I LOVE BONES & EYEBALLS! YUMMMM!!!!
ReplyDeleteWant to know why there is such a rise of Cancer going on? Look no further than good old FAST FOOD!
ReplyDeleteFor all of you people who are now going to be terrified of mcdonald's, it's not just this restaurant chain. It's every where in the world, unless you want to start breeding your own livestock and have your own personal backyard farm and organic garden, then you really have no idea what is in the food you are buying, even if it is from the grocery store. And to whoever said that it takes no extra effort to find all organic foods and make meals for you families, you are so wrong. Unless you live in a smaller town with farming in the area or just outside of your area, there is no immediate source of organic foods. They don't just supply them in city grocery stores. Like I said, even if you're going out of your way to become paranoid and buy all of these organic foods, which might I add cost quite a percent higher than other regular food items at the grocery store, these foods also could be labelled organic but you didn't grow them yourself did you? So you don't know what has been used on them. So if you're going to go through all the trouble, why don't you just go back in time and build yourself a small house on an acreage and grow your own food and breed your own animals. Because in this day and age, you don't know what is any of your food, and yes McDonald's is obviously a bad culprit, but so is any highly produced fast food chain. I will still eat it, but i will also go to the grocery store and cook all of my own meals, because i also don't know what is in these products either. So to me, it is all the same. Whether it's cooked at home or outside of the home.
ReplyDeleteOK, FIRST OF ALL we're not paying MORE for "all of these organic foods" like they try to make it seem in the store the fact of the matter is, You're just paying a lower price (marketing tool) for processed FAKE food. I am Not at all saying that a person doesnt have to put more effort into finding and buying organically, my point here is: if they're not an idiot then ANY PERSON can find out what is in most Everything we consume (not just food)on a daily basis. you should consider spending a little less time conversating on things you obviously dont fully comprehend and more time educating yourself on a little something called Self-Suffienciency; stop settling for (apparently) silently killing you and yours by pure laziness and stupidity. !! If your not a part of the solution you are a part of the problem !!
Deleteand for the record, i dont know wtf time-warp you live in but i know quite a few people that have "a small house on an acreage and grow their own food and breed their own animals" and well, let's just say i'd like to see your SPOILED, LAZY BUTT attempt to live, work and survive ONE week how they do it; how life is supposed to be. Gawd, You really just need to recognize! all the amazing people you just put down are what Keep This Country Alive and Kickin
And just one last thing:
You must live in a big city, right?? well Please, the next time you are out spending all your money on a bunch of useless crap while on your next vacation or day trip or something somewhere out in a nice and heavenly quaint little country-town, do yourself a favor and find a farmer's market, buy yourself a pint of Whatever you think is your favorite fruit/veggie in the "regular food items" section in a grocery store and Then tell me "it is all the same. Whether it's cooked at home or outside of the home."
You're a Fucking Douche :\
Sincerely Yours,
NatureChick ~C:
did you know that for food to be classed as organic the supplier just has to be 1(ONE) month free of pesticides. Thats it just one month... so think about that while you are shopping even though it may say organic that doesn't mean it isn't filled with pesticides!
Deleteummm............ well my freind had to do a project in collage and she but a box of chicken nuggets from mcdonalds and left it on her counter for 17 weeks and it never molded. when she looked up the ingredients to the nuggets, there was a posin in there that kept it from molding.... i dont remmeber what it was called but i think she said something about it causing cancers, but im not sure.ever since then i have not been eating there.

ReplyDeleteI love me some nuggets!!!! I love dipping them in that yummy hot mustard!!! I am 6' tall and weigh 205lbs and bench press 405lbs. I also run and swim and do yoga and martial arts. Goes to show you that exercise makes it possible for you to eat crappy food as long as you dont ever stop working out!!!
ReplyDeleteyes of course, calories in equal calories out, as long as you are burning more calories than you are eating you should be losing weight. That does not how-ever, make it healthy, there are still a lot of health risks when your putting things in your body that we not created to go in. And a lot of the people that are eating these things, probably a good portion really, are NOT any where near as active and so are consuming 1200 calorie meal and they've burned a whole 1200 calories for the whole day so all the rest of the food that was consumed that day took the calorie count WAY beyond what it should be to lose or maintain weight.
DeleteI haven't eaten at any of the fast food chains since I watched Super Size Me. www.shabooty.com/.../super-size-me-full-movie-on-youtube.php
ReplyDeleteI now use all that money I no longer spend on fast food to buy the healthy and highly regulated organic foods so readily available all over my town, both in every supermarket and especially in the many 'health food' stores.
Oh, yeah, I use some of the money I save on new clothes, as I have lost 7 full sizes and about 150 pounds since I have chosen to eat healthier.
By the way, I still eat chocolate whenever I feel like it.
In response to Anonymous dated Sunday, August 21, 2011 - Trust yourself. Look at the ingredients on the label of ALL packaged foods. If you can't pronounce or don't know what even ONE of the ingredients are, don't buy it.
ReplyDeleteRot in hell, McD. We thank you for creating Obese USA.

ReplyDeleteto those of you who said they would just eat the fries...ahhh...I don't know how to break this to you but do your homework on those as well...They are worse than the chicken. Youtube has some good video on them as well...better yet, try this for yourself. Take some REAL french fries and some McDonalds fries and set them out for a couple months...within a few days, you will see the real fries starting to spoil...McDonalds fries stay unchanged even after months...Real food will spoil!
ReplyDeletehi
ReplyDeleteOK. Chicken nuggets or scrapple? Looks like scrapple is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay healthier!
ReplyDeletewell i think this is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome and interesting to me and yes wel im anonymous sooooooo call me kk booo
ReplyDeleteWTF IS THIS THATS FUDGING GROSS AS HELL EWWWWW
ReplyDeleteI thought the chicken head that the mother found in her chicken nuggets was fake... o_O
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? o_o
no my sister had all my nieces and there was a chicken finger with a knuckle still gross!!!!!!!after that i dont eat there
DeleteHave you ever cleaned out your car and found McDonald's "floor fries" from months ago? They look exactly the same as they did when you bought them. Gross.
ReplyDeletei always thought the nuggets were kinda gross. i rarely got them and i can't remember the last time i ordered em there. i'm going to stick to the burgers from now on...no more "ick" chicken sandwiches for me.
ReplyDeleteReally? All you people over-react. Completely. Its a damn fast food chicken nugget. Of course it isn't 100% chicken! Trust me, you have all eaten things WAY worse for you than McDonald's chicken nuggets.
ReplyDeleteSo chill out a little bit. And enjoy life.
My thoughts exactly
Deleteyeah haha what do you think in there
DeleteHi. in Mc.Donalds chicken mc. nuggets they put a chicken's toungue, ammonia, chicken eyes, brains of the chicken, and sometimes even the blood. i swear to you this is what's in the chicken. NO LIE!!! its very very very gross!
ReplyDeleteWell, they taste fantastic. When you eat certain sea foods, bugs (some people do), and other things, you eat all these things and more. The difference is McDonald's nuggets actually taste good so even if this is true, which it probably isn't, there are far worse things that you've eaten out there. It sounds gross, but it's true.
DeleteI'm eating some now.....might as well since I've been doing it anyway.
ReplyDeleteAnd no you can't hold them responsible, its your own fat Ass fault for eating there all the time.
excuse me, i'm a teacher and i asked how many of my kids eat mcdonalds chicken nuggets. when almost all of them raised their hands i told them that it's bad for them, but they love it. i did not elaborate to my kids, but i wonder why parents are not taking a more proactive stance in what their children eat, especially at fast food places like mcdonalds. i understand the need for something on the fly, but please, filling our children up with so many chemicals???? come on people!!! ammonia!!!!!
Deletewell then ur nasty
Deleteshut the fuck up. then its your sorry fucking ass's fault for fucking eating those pieces of shit and getting fucking sick. dickhead.
DeleteWhat a wake up call to all this info!!!!
ReplyDeleteMcdonals is sick as fuck! they need to use real meat and stop being cheap about there shit. and maybe they wont have bad reviews about there resteraunt chain.
ReplyDeleteBut, hey, at least it tastes good, right?
ReplyDeleteHigh five, America!
home cooked meal is the boom.if u cant cook then learn... pleaaaase.
ReplyDeleteMacdonalds should start adding MSG again.
ReplyDeleteI doo love a chicken head for lunch!
ReplyDeleteI still love McDonals chichen nuggets!!!
ReplyDeleteYUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered a McChicken a month ago and almost bit into a chicken feather. And the lady had the nerve to ask me if i wanted another one!! GROSS. I HATE MCDONALDS!!!

ReplyDeleteGreat story! Will definitely share! Thanks for the insight!
ReplyDeleteyou no what? i do not give a shit. i like it i eat this every day lol joking this place is just plain old CRAP
ReplyDeleteNo more chicken nuggets for me and I will tell my sister not to eat them to. And my friends also. I am 7 years old.
ReplyDeleteYuck...e-e"
ReplyDeleteCome on. If you're afraid of chemicals, then don't eat. Don't you know, salt is sodium chloride and water is made of hydrogen and oxygen. Rice and other starch is made of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Scary, eh? Vinegar is acetic acid. Yikes, acid? You're a moron if you get alarmed by this article. Where have you been? Under the rocks?
ReplyDeleteMeh. Live live to it's fullest. I'd rather live 50 years of pure happiness than 100 years of crumminess.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy fast food while you can. Fast food prices are expected to triple by 2013.
WOW but i am not surprised they also use this other gross ingredient called pink slime mold the more you look into it the more weird it gets.......... and i loved that last pic you had plus to anonymous who is eating that stuff now you don't have to go cursing at ever one!!!!
ReplyDeleteGod do i love mcnuggets... as long as you don't have then a lot you are fine... no need to worry if you work out and only eat there few times. i will still.get these and not be a pussy about it!
ReplyDeleteWhy do people find the prospect of an entire fried chicken head so disgusting when they're completely content to east the processed heads and other parts of chickens in normal McNuggets? Get over yourselves.
ReplyDelete...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................gross!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....
ReplyDeleteYeah,im glad i was reading this,[Not eating there agian] P.s. For the guy above me, whats the use in calling Healthy Boy a fat *** it makes no sense.
ReplyDeleteI do Believe the key-word is " Moderation ".....Come on, Fatty, tasty food is OK to have, once in a while (Geez Louise).... Heck and I'm an forty-two year old Professional, who chooses to work at McDonalds part-time (six hours weekly)... "Proud to say I've been working, on & off for McDonalds since age Fifteen" !!!
ReplyDeleteI'm 105 pounds and 5'7'' (yah, that's right, UNDERWEIGHT!) and I eat mcdonalds every other day AND I don't work out AT ALL! To those of you that say McDonalds causes obesity, don't be stupid, its not the food, you can blame your parents! Yes, its unhealthy, but if you don't like whats in it, dont eat it (simple as that). Poor genetics is what caused obesity in America, and ironically, we did it to ourselves by over-stuffing our faces. Eating until we feel like throwing up.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny though... No matter what information is revealed to fastfood places, be it their ingredients or how they make it, people still eat their products. You can't really blame them and hold them responsible since it was your choice in the first place. Then again, advertise is to blame since they get your attention hooked in the first place. Instead of looking at fastfoods negatively, what about their positive side? At the risk of eating healthy, fastfood chains help reduce the money and time spent on preparing food ourselves. Take it from me, I am from a third-world country and sometimes eating outside can save our budget plan a little bit or spare us some valuable time. It's not bad eating outside once in a while but in moderation.
ReplyDeleteSorry if I offended, angered, or did anything to anyone. I want to thank this article though for helping me think more about what I would eat in fastfood chains and in letting me voice my opinion. I only sincerely hope this helps people understand that blaming anyone is just wrong. We should think of all ourselves as the ones to be blame because of need, demand, and satisfaction. Fastfood chains were started because of need, then demanded when the uprisings started, and to satisfy our 'wants' or 'cravings'. If you've read this until now, thank you and sorry for my post.
this is sad and and gross
ReplyDeleteI know this is really late, but why not?
ReplyDeleteMcDonald's isn't really worse than the other place (Chick-fil-a, Sonic, Wendy's, Burger King) so just make sure you're not heading to them in rebellion over McDonald's. Some of those places are worse, actually (Burger King, specifically). Chick-fil-a might be a tad healthier, but the difference is minimal. Sure, the calories or less, but so are the portions. Per size of nugget, McDonald's and Chick-fil-a have a lot in common in terms of nutrition.
The store stuff isn't any better either. If you want chicken without tons of crap in it, you have to buy it and make it yourself. I really don't count life by the days I live, but by how much I enjoy it. I enjoy eating at these places on occasion, there's nothing wrong with that. In some countries, people eat bugs. Whatever is in my nuggets, is hopefully better than that, plus they taste good. So let the health nuts be health nuts, but we will all die at some point regardless of what we eat. If it's not one thing it's another, but some of us will just enjoy our food more than others.
I just ate chicken nuggets ! :( ew
ReplyDeleteI am not very health conscious, but i will tell you that I have been trying to do better since I am getting older. So, I don't eat out as often anymore. But recently, having cravings for some foods I used to eat, I have eaten at McDonalds a couple of times and gotten really sick. Like the food I have eaten just wouldn't digest and nothing I took would make that feeling go away. I used to love McDonalds food and for me to say I will NEVER eat there again is really saying something! Beware, people!
ReplyDeleteWhat are u think about eating? İs it horrible? You can be a vegetarian!
ReplyDeletemcdonalds nuggets are now really gross never eating those again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG SICKENING
ReplyDeleteoh fuck shit, bollocks and mother fucking cunt, this is so mother fucking gross, you CUNTS!!! corporate cunt bags!!! profits over anything sacred!!! i am only making my own pizza now and will hunt my own animals, arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a secret for no one that McDonald's stuff isn't very healthy, but I don't like how the author compares chemicals with the fallacious intention of amplifying its horror effect.
ReplyDeleteFor instance, I could say that fruits and vegetables contain one of the world's most used industrial solvant. Water. Apples contain oxalic acid, the main ingrediant of the Barkeeper's Friend cleaning product. It's not because something is used for cleaning and other horrifying purposes that it's necessarily a poison. We should put things in context.
